Hi everyone! I thought it would be fun to do a casual ‘little bit of everything” style blog post where I share thoughts — what’s on my mind, what I’ve been up to as of late – and things – what’s caught my eye recently, current faves — I think of it like a little coffee chat where we play catch up. Let’s jump right in!
Lately, I’ve been loving the Dinner Party with Nancy and Ina playlist on Spotify. I play it while working, doing laundry, etc and it’s been a nice mood boost. Especially when the song This Will Be comes up which gives me major Parent Trap nostalgia.
Speaking of, I’ve noticed the Parent Trap is having a major moment this summer! I LOVED that movie growing up and I watched it again a couple of months ago and it’s such a feel-good movie! Also, all things Meredith Blake have been popping up on my social feeds lately and I’m not mad about it. I shared a Reel recently featuring a LDB that I felt was very “Meredith Blake” — she is a true style icon!
Last weekend, I went on a day trip to Palm Beach to celebrate by BF’s bday and it was so much fun. We rode bike all around the island and I sported this gingham dress from Byrdie Golf Social. It inspired me to spend more time doing fun things like that, riding bike just because! I feel like I don’t do that as often and it would be fun to get outside more on evening bike rides and such!
Next month, I’ll be heading to Texas and I want to get a pair of cowgirl boots because I don’t have a pair and I just feel like it would be very fitting, don’t you think? I initially wanted this pair of Tecovas, but I’m not sure I would get a TON of wear so maybe it’s not worth the price tag…so I’m thinking of this pair which is more budget-friendly. What do you think?
Also, I have been thinking of getting matching permanent bracelets with my mom and sisters. How cute is this? It’s like the adult version of friendship bracelets, lol.
