A Blue and White Color Story

Sharing a round up of beautiful and timeless blue and white pieces for the end of summer.

Outfit details: Dress (c/o) | Shoes (c/o) ($50 OFF with code SARAHFLINT-BAEMILY)

A Blue and White Color Story

It’s hard to believe summer is coming to an end. Soon, we’ll be trading our sundresses for layered looks! But before then, I am soaking up every moment of the summer season, although it isn’t getting cooler anytime soon here in Miami.

There is something so classic, fresh and timeless about this color combination regardless of the season.

Whether it’s clothing and accessories or home decor, I cannot get enough of this color palette. I believe there is beauty in simplicity, and a blue and white color combination is exactly that.

Truthfully, I own more blue and white pieces than I’d like to admit.

Some of my favorite brands that carry timeless styles in these shades, are J.Crew and Draper James — here is a Summer PJ edit from Draper James featuring these fun striped pjs earlier in the season.

This striped dress featured in this post is one of my favorite effortless yet put-together pieces, and it is such a versatile dress. It has functional buttons and pairs so nicely with heels, sandals or sneakers! Layer with a denim jacket for cooler temps to transition into fall.

Also, this blue top and white linen shorts makes for such a classic and feminine outfit that is feels more elevated than your typical casual summer look, but is still an easy outfit!

I pulled out this dress from 2 years ago and I didn’t realize how much I like wearing orange in the summer months, it’s just so fun! This is your sign to not shy away from color, even ones that are out of your comfort zone.

Trendy items aren’t my thing but there are ways Trendy items aren’t my thing but there are ways to have fun with trends of course!

I think it’s important to have a wardrobe base of classic pieces that way you don’t have to worry about keeping up with the latest trends and have a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear.

If you build up your wardrobe staples, the you can add in fun trendy accessories, shoes, handbags etc.

Are you into trends or classic pieces?
