Sharing the first holiday gift guide of 2020: a spotlight on small businesses.
It may be a bit early to start thinking of the holidays, but I think we could all use a little extra cheer this year. I know many of you can relate, when I say this year has been a rollercoaster. Even still, it’s comforting to know that the holiday season is what lies ahead, so we’ll be ending the year on a positive note!
With that, I’ve put together some holiday gift ideas with a spotlight on small businesses that I know and love. I’ve either used their products or have followed the brand and stand by them and their mission.
It’s so important to highlight these small businesses especially during the holidays since many of these pieces are one-of-a-kind and carefully made. It makes a gift that much more special! Read on for a small business holiday gift guide.
Small Business Holiday Gift Guide
The Illustrated Life Holiday Card: Her illustrations and designs are so feminine and classic! I’ve been following the artist for a while and I can tell she puts a lot of thought and care into each of her designs. A holiday card or gift tag would add the perfect touch to any holiday gift this season!
LAKE Pajamas: I shared a review on these pajamas earlier this year and I stand by this. I truly only wear these PJs. They’re so luxuriously soft and comfortable, and I think they’d make for a wonderful self care gift.
Hill House Nap Dress: 2020 has been the year of the nap dress. It’s basically an elevated dress you can wear around the house and out an about. Why not, right? I love this tartan plaid one for the holidays but they also have lovely prints that work year-round.
Hazen & Co. Earrings: I was recently introduced to this brand and the pieces are incredibly stunning. They’re so well-made and unique. A beautiful statement earring or bracelet is never a bad idea.
Tuckernuck Gold Necklace: Tuckernuck is one of my favorite brands for classic, timeless Americana style. This chunky chain link necklace is a stylish accessory that matches many outfits, all year round.
Estelle Colored Glass Wine Glass: This luxury hand-blown glassware is a lovely hostess gift idea. The pink color is fun and different. The set is great for entertaining, holiday meals, everyday dinners, etc.
Weezie Towels: These towels are seriously the BEST. It sounds so silly but to be honest, it’s the little things nowadays! I have and LOVE the makeup towels and the beach towels. A monogrammed robe or makeup towel set would be a lovely self care gift.
Amanda Lindroth Vases: These island-inspired home accents are tropical, feminine and would brighten up any space. The hurricane vase is a favorite of mine, seen here!
Sarah Flint Sandals: By far my most worn sandals this year, I have them in white and I love them. They’re a splurge, so they’re definitely an investment piece, but these lovely shoes would make for a special gift. For $50 off your order, use the code SARAHFLINT-BAEMILY.
Margaux Flats: If you’re looking for a pair to treat yourself or someone, look no further. Nothing beats a classic pair of shoes that stand the test of time. Use the code EMILY10 for 10% off your order.
WREN Monogram Cutting Board: This year, I was introduced to WREN Home and I instantly thought of this as a holiday gift idea as soon as I saw their products. I have the Lark Large Maple monogram board, seen in this post, and the quality is unbelievable. Truly a wonderful gift. WREN was kind enough to extend a discount code: you can use the code emilyg20 for 20% off your order.
Neely & Chloe Bag: A classic ladylike handbag is such a timeless accessory. I truly think it would also make a lovely gift because it’ll never go out of style! It’s such a nice fancy present for a mom, sister, aunt, etc. They also have the option to hand paint or emboss it which is so sweet. I have the navy croc embossed one, seen here.
Le Point Studio Needlepoint Canvas: For someone who’s into arts and crafts, this is such a fun gift! I purchased my first needlepoint canvas this year from this shop, this one, and it’s been such a nice little hobby. This holly one is perfect for the holidays and this monogrammed one is so thoughtful and sweet!
