Sharing a recap of my recent trip to Walt Disney World along with helpful info on traveling there with the new protocols.

A couple of weekends ago we drove up to Orlando for a weekend in Disney to celebrate my birthday. It was a great experience and I thought I’d share a little recap here on the blog! I also made a short video on Instagram which you can see here.
We got there early Friday morning and headed straight to Magic Kingdom. I was pleased when I saw there were virtually no crowds and everything was a smooth and pleasant experience.
There were tons of hand sanitizing stations throughout the park, markers to guide the 6ft apart distances, and the wait lines for the popular rides were pretty low. It was the emptiest I had ever seen the park!
If you’re considering going to Disney and have the option to, I’d say it’s worth it.
We stayed at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort and I seriously LOVED it. It was beautiful, clean, and the pool was so pretty. On Saturday, we enjoyed a pool day and again, I felt very safe. There were staff members constantly cleaning surfaces and taking precautions where needed.
They also had a cute marketplace shop/cafe and I just had to treat myself to an iced latte each morning!
Saturday night we had dinner in Disney Springs and I will say it was more crowded than I would have liked. But overall, that was the only crowded experience we had. We ended the night with cupcakes from Sprinkles and I got the GF lemon blueberry cupcake. So good!
On Sunday, we took a ride on the Skyliner. It was such a fun and relaxing way to end the trip to Disney! Can’t wait to slowly but surely start traveling again!

It looks like you had lot of fun on your birthday trip! It should have been such a relief that there was no crowd in Disney land. By the way, you look very pretty in the dress.
