Need some inspiration on what to wear if you work from home or if you happen to be working from home for a few days? Read on for style inspiration and tips!
So many things are happening lately regarding the pandemic. Not going to get into details, because you already know what’s going on. I’m using this as an opportunity to bring some joy into your day and distract you from everything that’s been going on. I mean… being on social media these last several days has really taken a toll. Consider this your escape!
If you are one of those who are working from home for the next couple of weeks, I’m right there with you. I’ve actually never worked from home until now. But, last year during spring semester, I had mostly online classes so I technically “worked from home” as a college student so I have some experience with how to make the most out of the time spent working at home. For amazing tips on how to make your day most efficient, check out these amazing tips from Carly!
Honestly, working from home takes some getting used to — especially if you have never or have hardly ever worked from home. But one thing’s for sure… dressing up for work even if you’re at home will make all the difference. You will actually feel more productive because you’ll be in that “get things done” mindset. Trust me, while being in cozy PJs may be tempting, you’ll quickly start to get a little too cozy to get anything done!
I encourage you to do something as small as styling your hair, putting on some mascara and lipstick and getting dressed for “work.” Scroll through below for outfit ideas if you are working from home.

Love these working from home outfit ideas! I wish it was warmer where I was because I’d love to wear dresses and skirts, but I’m still stuck in jeans, or leggings!
Stay safe!

Hi Helen,
Thanks so much. Wishing you well and warmer days ahead. 🙂 Don’t worry, I’m wearing jeans most days because my house is FREEZING! haha

Love the blazer and jeans look with those adorable loafers! Working from home, I wear exactly what I would wear to the office. My “uniform” is a tucked in button-down and skinny jeans, and I’ll throw on a blazer and scarf to spice things up. The only difference I don’t wear shoes in the house, so no loafers for me! I’ve just been going barefoot, which looks super weird with my blazer and skinnies.

Hi Jessica, this is great! I love your uniform, it sounds so polished! I hear you on the shoes. I tend to wear comfy house sandals or slippers.
