I can’t believe that time of year is officially here! Read on for a round up of my favorite purchases this year.
A new year is around the corner, which is so exciting! At the end of every year I love to reflect on the past year. What worked, what didn’t work and so on. Today’s post is a round-up of things that I discovered/ purchased this year that have been total game-changers, from beauty to fashion and anything in between. My goal with this list of favorite purchases from 2019 is to inspire you in your search for your next must-have that you ever know you needed!
Tretorns
First up, my favorite shoe purchase of 2019. These shoes have been a huge staple in my wardrobe ever since I bought them this past summer. I bought them to upgrade from white converse (which were stylish but uncomfortable after a while). Needless to say, I’ve worn these Tretorns countless times since then and they’ve checked off the boxes of comfort and style! They’re truly the essential white sneaker that you need in your closet. They’re great for running errands around the city, styling with a dress to make it more casual, and for travel! The list goes on. If there’s anything I recommend the most out of this list, it’s these sneakers.
Klorane Dry Shampoo
This year I made it a point to not blow dry my hair as often. Which means washing it less. I tried several dry shampoos before discovering this one and I’m never going back! This dry shampoo has been a total game-changer and it helps keep my hair looking and feeling clean for up to 3-4 days. I now wash my hair 2-3 times a week and it’s all thanks to this life-changing dry shampoo. The best part? It is all natural and non-toxic.
LAKE Pajamas
I first heard of this brand a while ago and while I thought that their PJs were nice, I couldn’t understand the “hype” — especially with the higher price point. As I learned more about the brand, I found that a lot of bloggers raved about them, saying they were the most comfortable and soft PJs ever. I was in the market for new PJs so, on Black Friday, I pulled the trigger and got my first pair. Then I got a second pair as a Christmas gift (my exact pair is sold out but here is a similar version)! Now, I pretty much only wear these PJs and keep them both on rotation… I’m hooked!
Kora Organics Noni Glow Face Oil
I recently purchased the travel-sized version of this face oil because I wanted to test it out to see if I liked it. I was really skeptical of using a daily face oil because I was afraid it might make my skin too oily. It is actually one of my favorite purchases to date! It leaves my skin feeling soft, and it gives a nice healthy glow. I highly recommend it for all skin types… you’ll be amazed by the results. Gal Meets Glam Jumpsuit
The best for last! This is one of my most-worn pieces this year, so it was a must to include this in my list of favorite purchases. It is effortlessly casual yet polished. I have worn it for exploring a new city, running errands, dressed it up, the list goes on. This floral jumpsuit (similar here) is so versatile and chic.
