Style Watch: Headbands Under $50

Headbands are back in style and better than ever, so I’m sharing a round up of headbands under $50 in a variety of styles!

I’m excited to be introducing a new series called “Style Watch” where I’ll be sharing “it” styles of the moment, each season. I think it’s a fun way to highlight a noteworthy style (or a few), each season! This season’s spotlight style? Headbands!

We all know that trends come and go…and then they come back again. As you probably know by now if you’ve been following along on the blog for a bit, I am not big on trends but I will say that it’s definitely fun to add a few inexpensive trendy items to your wardrobe when you feel they’re 100% worth it! It’s a fun way to add some unique pieces to change up your overall look.

To be honest, I don’t think headbands can ever really go out of style. I remember about 4-5 years ago, I had a decent collection of trendy headbands like ones with lace, felt or chiffon floral accents. Anyone else remember those? I kind of wish I kept those around because now headbands are so in.

Unlike a few years back, I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen such a large (and gorgeous!) variety of headband styles like I’ve been seeing lately. From Amazon, to Target to high-end and brand-name stores, you’re guaranteed to stumble upon pretty styles for any occasion.

My love for headbands this season all started when I borrowed a leopard headband from a friend (see the look here). About a week later, I popped into Nordstrom Rack for some Christmas shopping and came across the prettiest headbands. I instantly bought the leopard one pictured in this post (similar here). Since then, I’ve added some more to my collection like this mauve rose velvet one and this blush velvet/ pearl one! (Side note: does anyone else buy some things for themselves while out Christmas shopping? I’m so guilty of this! ha)
