Since fall wedding season is officially upon us, I’m sharing some ideas and inspiration on what to wear to a fall wedding, if you’ve got one on your calendar!
The first day of Fall is exactly a week from today and fall wedding season is officially upon us! So exciting!
This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending a family friend’s wedding. I had no idea what to wear since my formal/ wedding guest attire assortment is pretty small, which gave me the perfect opportunity to add something new and fresh to my wardrobe. With that, I figured lots of gals may need some extra inspiration on what to wear to a fall wedding this season!
Before I jump into that, I want to chat about this jumpsuit for a sec. Last week, I shared J. Crew’s color of the month (emerald green) with you all over on Instagram stories. Most of you shared that you loved the new color and I was kind of on the fence about it.
However, when I walked in J. Crew and saw this piece I just KNEW it was going to be perfect for the casual wedding I was attending that night. I truly only own one or two green pieces and this is my first rich emerald hue piece. So, if you are wondering what to shop for this fall, consider adding a few emerald- and deep green-colored pieces to your wardrobe! Its a beautiful shade that is universal and would look amazing on any skin tone.
Now, onto some wedding attire inspiration! If you’re attending a really formal or a black tie fall wedding, I highly encourage renting a gown on Rent the Runway. See this post for some ideas! The reason I think this is such a good option for a really formal wedding is because you most likely won’t be wearing a fancy gown that often so you might as well just rent it for the occasion.
