As summer vacations come to an end and as we ease into “back to school” season, Fall begins making its way to us — even if the weather hasn’t quite caught up. Regardless of the absence of a true Fall season in South Florida, it’s always fun to dress for the season!
I’ve seen quite a few retailers release pre-fall collections that work well during the lingering months of summer all the way through the Fall season. While browsing online, I noticed some popular colors, styles and trends that I wanted to share with you in case you’re looking to stock up on some Fall must-haves.
August tends to be an “awkward” month for fashion because it’s an in-between phase. Most retailers are already releasing Fall-ready styles, yet it’s still very hot out to wear anything but summer clothes. So these Fall styles are perfect for wearing now and later. I’ll also be sharing some outfits on Instagram and the blog soon that transition well for this season and next!
As you start making space in your closet for your favorite Fall pieces from year’s past, here are a few Fall trends and styles to look out for this season:
Styles to Look Out for this Fall
Each of these styles work so well for late summer and throughout Fall and even winter (for warmer states). It’s all about the accessories. Pair now with summery accessories like sandals and woven bags. Style it for later with leather and suede accessories like boots, hats and cozy scarves. The options are endless!
Shades of Green
Knits
Warm-Colored Prints
Silk
Tweed

OMG I have the Celeste dress in Navy, and it goes with everything for fall and winter! I love styling it new ways, like dressing it up and down. I love love the cream color dress, and really want it for fall. Love how you paired the cute GMG jacket over it. So perfect for early fall!! 🙂
