It’s been a while since I chatted about beauty on here so I wanted to catch you up on some new products I’ve added to my routine and share an easy summer makeup routine!
Year round, I keep my makeup very minimal. I swear by a handful of beauty products, like this tinted sunscreen, this eyebrow pomade, mascara and lipstick and occasionally concealer. When I am wearing makeup for an occasion or shooting some looks, I’ll add bronzer and blush!
In the summer, I pretty much keep things just as minimal if not more. Lately, all I’ve been wearing is my daily moisturizer along with a few coats of mascara, eyebrow pomade and a swipe of lipstick.
I think it’s so important to let your skin breathe especially during the change of seasons. In this case, the really hot summer.
This simple summer skincare routine takes under 5 minutes and is great for the warm months because you don’t have to worry about the makeup coming right off with the warm temps.
Simple Summer Makeup Routine
1. Apply a lightweight tinted moisturizer or sunscreen. I swear by this tinted mineral sunscreen and I wear it just about every day. It provides an even base and keeps your skin protected. It does leave a minor white cast it’s but not too noticeable as long as you don’t apply too much.
2. Apply a little bit of bronzer, mascara and lipstick. This will help subtly accentuate your features and make them stand out while keeping it very simple. This look is so minimal, you can even wear it at the beach either sans mascara or by opting for a waterproof one!
That’s about all there is to it! It’s such a simple summer makeup routine that you can easily incorporate into your regular beauty routine whenever you want to let your skin breathe.
