Here in sunny South Florida, the weather is heating up by the day. This Miami heat means that Summer has officially begun in my book!
Whether you’re heading out of town for a beach trip or staying close to home this summer, a summer maxi dress is one of those must-have pieces for the season.
The cheerful, golden yellow shade of this dress along with the white flower petals instantly caught my eye when I saw it online!
It immediately reminded me of sunshine and it made me so excited for summer style. I mentioned this earlier, but I am not typically drawn to bright or colorful hues. I’m usually wearing navy, light blue, white or light pink. Oh and stripes… lots of stripes! Truthfully, this is only one out of two yellow-colored items in my closet.
But, with the weather warming up, I just couldn’t resist this sunny, marigold maxi dress.
This dress is the perfect mix of dressy and casual.
I styled this yellow dress with coral statement earrings and sandals but the options are endless. You can wear it as a beach coverup just as easily as you can wear it out to dinner. Take it to the beach with a straw hat and tote. Wear it out to dinner with statement earrings, raffia heels and a straw clutch.
This dress makes summer dressing easy. There’s nothing like a one piece outfit, where you can just throw it on and go. You can look put together with minimal effort and that’s what we’re going for while on vacation, right?
